2010 Twin Lakes Youth Wilderness Camp Umpqua Watersheds will host its annual Youth Wilderness Camp at Twin Lakes July 30 to August 1. Camp is open to youth ages 12-20. Younger children may attend with an accompanying adult. This year we have a fun-filled weekend planned with lots of opportunities for learning. Cost: $20/UW member; $40/non-member. This fee covers food and travel expenses for the weekend. We are also looking for a few more adult volunteers. Umpqua Brew Fest - September 17th & 18th Umpqua Watersheds host 10 to 20 microbrews from around the Pacific Northwest in a downtown celebration of water conservation. Please save the date and bring your appetite for local food and good brews. It's all about the water! |

Mt. Thielsen Hike - September 25th Its that time again! Saturday September 25th, climb the tallest peak in the Umpqua watershed and enjoy the grandest views of southern Oregon. From its height of 9,182 feet one can see down INTO the crater of Crater Lake National Park! Daylong hike is most difficult hike of the year. At the top you can sign your name on the scroll stored there. |
